Easy To Get Credit Cards
Credit cards generally aren’t that easy to get. When applying, most credit card companies will check your credit background and need you to submit sophisticated requirements to make sure you will be able to pay back whatever you will borrow from them.
In some cases, there are instances when credit cards are easy to get. This however depends on the company, the area where you are and the laws that apply in that area. Some countries have laws and processes that allows easy credit card application.
So what makes a credit card easy to get?
Mode of application
In general, the easy to get credit cards are offered when the bank or credit card company initiates the offer and not the other way around. The idea is for them to expand their customer numbers by recruiting more. To do this, they would initiate the contact and make the credit card application easy to do.
This usually happens when they would try to call you and make an offer stating easy ways to avail of their credit card. These companies usually have a database of prospects taken from different sources (i.e. referral from current customers). Others will send email and mail directly to the prospective customers. There are also instances when banks and other credit card companies open booths in company buildings or malls. These kiosks would instantly provide you a form to fill-out and would require you to submit a proof of income and identification. In any case, you can fax them your requirements to make it convenient on your part.
Minimum Set of Requirements
A typical bank would offer different types of credit cards, generally classified from standard, gold, and platinum types. Each kind has different types of requirements because of the disparity among its benefits, rewards, credit limit and the like. The least one (standard) usually entails the minimum requirements, usually just an identification proof of income and proof of address.
Fees, Interest Rate and Credit Limit
This condition goes in parallel with the set of requirements. Usually, the easy to get credit cards are those that offer the least fees, least interest rate and the least credit limit. These are standard types of credit cards offered by banks and credit card companies.
As a last note, it’s highly recommended that you consult your prospective credit card company or a financial adviser and try to negotiate or come up with a way to make the application easy for you. This is helpful especially for somebody with a bad credit background.
